Great pizza, and good atmosphere. I love that it's locally family owned and operated. They have American red on tap which really makes them a 5 star in my eyes! The only downside is if you go while they are slow, momma (the owner), talks to you about why they are better than their competitors. It felt like she was trying to convince us to eat there when we were already her customers! All in all its s good local place!

I last had a meal here in Nov 2000 before moving out of the area. It was always a favorite for pizza and pasta, good food, good service and fair prices. I will admit that I was never a fan of the pizza crust but loved their pizza. I just moved back and went there for dinner last night. I had the large house salad and a large pizza. Everything was great. The food was good, the service excellent and the price was fair. Still not a fan of the pizza crust but the ingredient's they use on the pizza and their sauce more than make up for it. The also have a good selection of beer in bottles but none on tap.

Gotta be honest... I've never tried their pizza, but the pizza dough baked subs are amazingly delish! Been coming here for 15 years and it's always fantastic! Guess I'll try their pizza one day!

Wanted to love it. Very friendly service. Unfortunately weak on flavor. I've never salted/ peppered a piece of pizza in my life :( Wished it was better.

Ok folks, let's keep this simple: I've been going here for a couple of years & as far as a non-chain restaurant goes, nothing beats it. Go here. Eat here. The food is great, the baked subs are fantastic, and the staff is friendly & fun.

Like most of these reviews the pizza wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. Slightly better than Pizza Hut. Service was good and prices were on spot.

Friendly staff, and great prices, but the pizza is more in line with what you'd get in a bowling alley. There is nothing fancy about the place either, which i personally dont mind. If all you want is a cheap meal, and don't mind going to a dive, this fits the bill. If you're looking for proper new york or chicago style pizza, keep looking because you will be sorely disappointed. I also tried the wings, which were better than the pizza...but still nothing special.

It wasn't terrible pizza, but it sure wasn't good. If the crust was made in house, it wasn't recently...though my guess is that it's bought in. The sauce was ok, not too acidic, and the amount was just right. The mozzarella tasted like whole milk, but wasn't too greasy. I like pepperoni to be over the cheese, but they place theirs under the cheese, so the peppery flavor gets muted beyond recognition. The service was friendly, and the food came out quickly. We drove out of way to get a pizza made fresh in house, but it was more like a pizza warmed in house.

It's not terrible, but it certainly isn't great. Since moving to Ft Walton a year ago, we have test driven many pizza joints around the area and this just isn't one of the better pizzas around. The crust felt like it had been frozen, the sauce was thick, but lacked seasoning. The the pepperoni, mushroom, and cheese were all quite adequate. All that being said, we ate every bite. The service was friendly and acceptable and the price was reasonable for the area. The atmosphere feels like it hasn't changed since the mid 1970's. "Mediocre" is probably the best description of the experience.

This pizza was great! Those other posts talking about Chicago style do not give this pizza justice, it ain't Chicago! This is Florida and as far as local pizza places go, it's the bees knees. Or I layman terms the cream of the crop!

Good service and the pizza was ok. I ordered their 7" mushroom, sausage, and hamburger pizza. The was good. The ambience of the place us topical of a small mom and pop restaurant.

I just paid $7 for a very small chicken breast salad. There was little to no lettuce and what was there was yellow. It was mostly cheese and black olives. The chicken itself was odd tasting. I won't be going back.

You must try their chef salads. By far the best in FWB. Fresh lettuce covered in diced ham, roast beef and cheese. I have eaten here for years and this is why return. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The inside is nothing fancy but it is clean. Ive tried their pizza and its nothing to brag about. Mediocre at best. Meatball is very delicious. But if you dont order the chef salad, you are missing out on the best part of their menu.

Here's my pizza knowledge: Chicago pizza, we make a few 100ish mile trips a year just for that pizza. We also have a place locally who's owner is from Chicago who makes a pretty good deep dish Gianetto's: NY pizza been there and locally we have a very similar place Polito's; overall South Bend has a lot of variations. We had dinner salads, cheese bread, and pizza. The sauce is a milder thick tomato taste, not a lot of spices. I'm not sure if there was supposed to be garlic on the bread, but there wasn't much. The pizza was good, but the crust was like a yeast less bread, more like a dense quick bread, rolled out thin. Fried pickles were an afterthought, they were good. Overall it was just good. Maybe a milder southern style?

Fresh toppings, light crust. Extremely attentive staff makes this place a go-to!

We have been here several times. The staff is extremely friendly. The pizza is mediocre, but better than most places in this area. I'm from Chicago, so pizza from anywhere else has some serious shoes to fill. I agree with Tim H., that they have fabulous fried pickles! I also have eaten their Baked Grilled Chicken Breast Sub with Peppercorn Parmesan dressing. I really liked that sandwich. The location is also convenient for me as it is on my way home from work.

The best fried pickles around! Pizza was average, but the price was great! A great local pizza place.
